New Innovative Technology for Males

For years, men only had two surgical choices for stress incontinence. The first is the sling. Unfortunately many men found that after their sling surgery, they continued to have issues with incontinence.  The success rates were mediocre at best.

The only other option available was reserved for severe incontinence - - the artificial urinary sphincter.  This surgery does provide full continence but every time the male needs to urinate, he must squeeze his scrotum to manipulate the implant within his scrotum in order to void.  Obviously, many men found this as undignified as having to deal with the incontinence itself.

Never before has there been an option in-between.  Until now . . .

Introducing new, game-changing technology - -

      The Life-time Adjustable Male Sling

The Life-time Adjustable Male Sling is the next generation surgical implant for male incontinence.  It is revolutionary in the fact that it allows for life-time adjustability to eliminate incontinence.  Minor adjustments can be done very easily in the doctor’s office if and when needed over the person’s lifetime -- without another surgery.

The old traditional sling surgery does not provide the option for upward adjustment of the sling and urethra after the surgery.  With the old procedure, there is one chance to get it right.  If it doesn’t work you still have to live with incontinence. . . or you have to go through another surgery.

This new innovative technology allows men to have significantly better results than a traditional sling, while still able to void in a normal fashion.

The Life-time Adjustable Male Sling's excellent results stem from two unique attributes:

Dynamic pressure transmission system

The dynamic pressure transmission system increases the sling urethral support while it's needed, such as during coughing or other exertion.  Due to its full loop configuration, when coughing, the rectus muscle is extended, which moves the varitensor implant upwards, thereby increasing urethral support while it’s needed. This mimics the intra-abdominal pressure transmission system of normal continent patients.  This system is not found in any other sling.

Ability to Adjust

If at any moment, during patient's lifetime, he is incontinent again, the surgeon can simply adjust the sling urethral support. After this adjustment, the patient will be continent again. This re-adjustment can be performed as needed over a person's lifetime.
